Welcome to Kiltaraglen apartment

Thanks for visiting our website for our 2 bedroom apartment in Portree on the Isle of Skye. 

Skye has dramatic mountains, beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, cliffs, charming harbours and much much more. Portree is the biggest town on the island (..with only 2000 people) and our apartment is ideally situated as a base to explore all the island has to offer.

The space

We are a brand new business in summer 2023, Kiltaraglen is the old name for Portree so we thought it was a fitting name for our apartment.

- 10 mins walk from main square in Portree, 5 mins from main supermarket

The island

If you are considering visiting Skye you've probably already heard of it's attraction but it has to be seen to be believed! It's has some of the most dramatic and impressive landscapes in the UK. There are many oppertunies for hikes, walks & climbs suitable for all levels from gentle strolls to traversing the world famous Black Cuillin mountain range.

Watersports and boat trips are also very popular and Skye is a brilliant destination for wildlife spotting. Eagles, Dolphins & Deer are regularly spotted and if you are very lucky sometimes whales!

There is also plenty to see and do on rainy days as well (and there are quite a few of them so bring the right clothing!). Armadale Castle and Dunvegan Castle are great days out. You could also tour one of the distilleries on the Island, Talisker in the West and Torabhaig in the South. 

You will not be short of things to do on the Isle of Skye, it's no wonder so many people come back time and time again to this island!
